The Victoria and South Australia album is completed. There were not many new additions from Melbourne; we were too busy eating to take any photos. But in any event, that concludes our time in Australia. Now it is on to New Zealand, a country I know very little about other than what I gleaned from “Whale Rider.” I haven’t even looked at a Lonely Planet guide for the country yet. Let the adventure begin!

It still looks like the two of you are having the time of your lives. I toured Australia in September of 2000 and had a great time visiting Sydney, Cairns, Alice Springs and Canberra.
I had the misconception koalas were cuddly little things; stuffed animals are deceiving. I was surprised to find they’re quite bristly and basically little balls of muscle under their fur.
I hope your trip to New Zealand is a blast! I’m looking forward to seeing your next series of posts and pictures.
