It never quite felt like Christmas being away from home, family and friends for the first time. I thought I’d wake up feeling dumpy and emotional, but the day went fine; other than the heat going out in the cooking trailer while I was baking pumpkin muffins, but I’ve come to expect that sort of thing and toughened up a lot over the past week. I came to California to learn to garden; not become Survivor Woman. It’s kinda cool. I feel good. Enjoy that sunshine! All my best for a happy new year and safe journey towards home. Happy Holidays!
